The outdoor kitchen and dining project for Cornerstone Christian Academy consists of an outdoor kitchen and dining room with a zinc roof and a concrete floor.
The project implied:
• Construction of a 470-square-foot concrete kitchen
• Construction of an outdoor dining room
Staff have a hygienic environment to prepare daily lunches, while students have a safe and designated area to enjoy their meals.
Thanks to the construction of this building, children will no longer lack a suitable place to eat. With the new building, the kitchen will provide an adequate and hygienic environment from which to prepare lunches and snacks for the children, having a safe place where they can enjoy their meals. The kitchen and dining room will benefit 207 children from the community.
We hope that the health of young people will improve on a large scale as they will be able to receive their meals in a suitable space and thus protect themselves from the weather conditions.
It is important to mention that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the kitchen and dining room area was used to prepare basic food to help those affected by the lockdown and food shortages in some neighboring communities. More than 1,800 people have benefited from food thanks to this project, and the building was also used for a

cloth rally that benefited an even greater number of people. During Eta and IOTA, the country’s healthcare and economic sector was deeply affected.
Thanks to the support of our donors, 207 students and staff will now benefit from this improvement project at Cornerstone Christian Academy.
