We continue to support nutrition in our country through our sheep project in Guaimaca. The project directly benefits 5,000 boys and girls who receive their food from various soup kitchens. Thanks to the support from Food for the Poor, CEPUDO was able to build a sheepfold and donate 50 sheep. Those responsible for this project have been trained in the proper handling of sheep. The staff in charge of the soup kitchens in Guaimaca have also been trained on how to butcher sheep in order to share the nutritious meat with those who need it the most in the community.
