In cooperation with Food For The Poor and ICDF Taiwan, our avocado project in La Campa, Lempira benefits more than 20 low income farmers.
Agricultural inputs such as fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides and tools including backpack pumps are provided to our beneficiaries. They are also trained in the proper use of supplies and tools with the help of ICDF Taiwan Mission.
The project includes food security through bean crops where producers receive the inputs and training to be able to harvest beans in the first 2 years where the avocado crop will not generate income.
