In this update, we are pleased to inform you that we have made significant progress in the Greenhouse project in Villa Méndez in the municipality of La Campa, Lempira.
In July, the maintenance of agricultural practices continued and the results were favorable since the plants are in the flowering and fruit formation stage. With this, the first harvest is expected in early September.
Thanks to the enormous effort of our donors Food For The Poor Inc., the families of the Villa Méndez community will maintain greenhouse production, harvesting fruits and vegetables for their consumption and supplying the demand for these products in neighboring towns.
