Thanks to the collaboration of CEPUDO and Food for the Poor, a school building was inaugurated for the Agricultural and Agroforestry Institute located in the community of San Marcos, Municipality of Guaimaca, Francisco Moraz\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

Previously, this institute operated within a community center provided by the community, which is in poor condition. Also, the bathrooms were poorly equipped and insufficient for the student population.<\/p>\n

The San Marcos Agricultural \/ Agroforestry Institute will provide a curriculum that will promote environmental conservation, including sustainable use of water, better agricultural practices, how to mitigate forest fires, and how to preserve the important biological diversity that is native to Honduras.<\/p>\n
