CEPUDO, Food for the Poor, and China\/Taiwan ICDF Mission are supporting the agricultural sector in Honduras. In this occasion, we are supporting 20 avocado farmers in the municipality of Lucerna, Ocotepeque.<\/p>\n

The project consists of 10 \u00a8manzanas\u00a8 of land with Haas avocado cultivation as well as inputs for their crops such as fertilizers, herbicides, and fungicides, plants for replanting and tools to be able to give the avocado plants the necessary care. The farmers were also given bean seeds so they could have a source of food during the avocado project. ICDF is providing the farmers with technical assistance so that the crops have optimal growth and have all the knowledge needed in planting and harvesting avocado.<\/p>\n
